BEYOND was
established by two industry veterans with a common passion for
education. With over 30 years of combined experience in
Educational Technology, BEYOND is uniquely qualified to understand
the complex needs of educators. With knowledge of state
standards, state and federal funding, and current technology
standards and methods, we provide
solutions that
address classroom instructional needs, impacting teachers, students
and administrators. Improving teaching and learning is our
passion and student achievement is our measuring stick for success.

Rick Harrell, CEO and Co-Founder
Rick Harrell,
BEYOND Technology Education CEO and Co-Founder, has been working
with schools both domestically and Ministries of Education
internationally for over 15 years, helping them to integrate
technology into their curriculum, instruction and their overall
school infrastructure.
Prior to BEYOND
Technology Education, Rick was President of U.S. Operations for
Futurekids. During his time at Futurekids Rick held several other
positions including Vice President of Education Products and Vice
President of Sales & Marketing. Rick has also taught computer
classes at the K-12 level.
Rick has spent
over 30 years in successful business development for various
companies. He has managed sales, marketing, operations, programs and
staff training. Rick is a
graduate of Point Loma College in San Diego with a degree in
Christian Education.

Ernie Delgado, President and Co-Founder
Ernie Delgado,
BEYOND Technology Education President and Co-Founder has been in the
educational technology arena over 18 years. Ernie began as a
computer teacher in the Chino Valley Futurekids Learning Center in
California and went on to manage school computer labs. He then
became the Western Region Sales Director for Futurekids.
Ernie has been
involved with the development of educational projects with ACSI,
CAPSO, USC, UCLA, Singapore Ministry of Education, California DOE,
and other State Universities and DOE’s. Ernie has traveled all over
the country and met with thousands of Superintendents, Principals,
Board Members, Church Pastors, and parents in spreading the message
of the unique benefits of technology for schools.
On
a personal note, Ernie has been involved with Pasadena CUE (Computer
Using Educators). He was a member of the Parish Council at St. Paul
the Apostle Church in Chino Hills for 3 years where he formed the
20+ Connection Young Adult Ministry and procured the building for
the Damien Center Youth Ministry. Ernie is the
Past-President of the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce where he also
chaired the Cultural Education Committee. Ernie is a graduate of
Cal State Fullerton with a degree in Business Administration. He
also serves on the Titan Advocates Association and volunteers to
work with students each year at the “Professor for a Day” Program at CSUF. |
