Curriculum
In a
computer lab or classroom, modeling a well written and
standards based lesson plan is always important.
Modeling
integrated
technology lessons is useful in helping teachers
see what a finished product can look like.
In addition, computer lab
teachers are always looking for a way to develop a continuum
of computer skills from week to week and grade to grade. Our
curriculum is divided into 4 quarter long units. Our thematic
approach uses fun and topical themes that students, parents
and teachers love.
BEYOND Technology
Education curriculum is written to a scope and sequence of
learning objectives for grades K-8 and written to ISTE
standards.

Beyond Technology Education services has provided
that needed edge in computer education that can really only come
from an outsource provider. The complete package of hardware,
software, classroom instruction, and teacher training make
Beyond Technology Education an affordable value. Additional
funding to assist with the program can come from No Child Left
Behind funds: Title II, Part A, Professional Development; Title
II, Part D, Enhancing Education Through Technology; and Title V,
Part A, Innovative Education. This program has been well
received in our school by teachers who are learning innovative
ways to integrate the computer into the classroom's regular
instruction pattern; students who are learning how to produce
real projects that illustrate their learning in various classes;
and by parents who want their children to learn that the
computer is for more than the latest game.
